FineFight

For attorneys

Traffic matters, prepared properly, and yours to accept or decline.

FineFight sends licensed attorneys traffic referrals that have already been read, verified with the client and assessed. You review each one against your own practice and decide. There is no volume commitment and no exclusivity.

01 · The network

What this actually is

FineFight is a client-facing service for traffic citations. Clients send us a citation, we read it, they confirm the details, and we assess the matter. What reaches you is a referral for a matter that has already been through that work.

FineFight is not a law firm. It does not practise law and does not supervise your work. The professional obligations that attach to representing a client are yours.

The kinds of referrals that come through

Impaired-driving matters are outside what the network handles, so they will not reach you through FineFight.

02 · Matching

How a matter reaches you

At the level of description that is honest. We are not going to show you a scoring formula, because presenting one would imply a precision that does not exist.

  1. 1

    Jurisdiction first

A matter is only ever offered to attorneys licensed to appear in the court that issued the citation. This is a hard constraint, not a preference.
  2. 2

    Then your stated practice

The matter types you have told us you take, and the courts you actually appear in, filter what you are shown.
  3. 3

    Then your current capacity

What you have told us about your availability. You control this, and you can change it.
  4. 4

    Then it is offered

You see the matter and decide. That decision is the actual matching step — everything before it is filtering.

What we will not claim about matching

We are not going to tell you there is an algorithm that knows which attorney is best for a matter. There is filtering, there is your own stated practice, and then there is your judgment. Any claim beyond that would be marketing.

03 · Your choice

Every case is yours to accept or decline

Nothing is auto-assigned to you. Each referral arrives as an offer with the matter's details attached, and you decide on it individually.

Declining is a normal, expected outcome. It is not held against you, and it does not need a justification beyond the reason you give.

No volume commitment

You are not required to accept a minimum number of matters, per week, per month or ever.

No exclusivity

Your practice is your own. Working with FineFight does not restrict where else your matters come from.

No penalty for declining

Declining a referral does not reduce what you are shown afterwards as a consequence.

What you see before you decide

  • The jurisdiction and the specific court
  • The violations as charged, with their code references
  • The case context — collision involvement, licence class, deadline posture
  • What the client has confirmed, and what remains uncertain

04 · Expectations

What the network expects of you

These are the terms of participating. They are about conduct and communication, not about volume.

  • Hold a licence in good standing

Active and in good standing in the jurisdictions where you accept matters. This is verified before you are onboarded and is expected to remain true.

  • Decide on referrals rather than leaving them

Accept or decline. A client waiting on an unanswered referral is the worst outcome for everyone, and the client is watching that status.

  • Keep the case record current

Filings, appearances, continuances and outcomes get posted to the case as they happen. The client sees this, which is largely the point.

  • Ask the client through the case

Document requests go through the case with a deadline attached, so both sides can see what was asked and whether it arrived.

  • Own the professional relationship

The professional obligations that attach to representing a client are yours. FineFight does not supervise your practice or direct your judgment.

05 · Onboarding

From application to first referral

Five stages. We have not attached durations to them, because that depends on how quickly credentials come back and on your own availability for the demo.

  1. 1

    Apply

You tell us who you are, where you are licensed, and what you practise. The application form states which fields are required.
  2. 2

    Demo

We walk you through the referral surface, the case tools and what the client sees. Ask the awkward questions here.
  3. 3

    Review and acceptance

Your application and credentials are reviewed. You get a real decision with a reason, and you can see the status of your application rather than wondering.
  4. 4

    Onboarding

Practice areas, jurisdictions, courts and capacity are set up the way you want them. These are yours to change afterwards.
  5. 5

    Referrals begin

Matters matching your jurisdictions and stated practice start arriving as offers. You decide on each one.
Credential verification is part of review. What we verify, and how any of it is represented to clients, is set out during onboarding rather than advertised as a badge here.

06 · Compensation

How compensation works

The client pays FineFight for representation on their matter. You are compensated for the matters you accept and carry out. Earnings are tracked per matter in your own surface, so what you are owed and what has been paid is visible rather than reconstructed at the end of a month.

We are not publishing figures on this page. Compensation terms are part of the agreement you enter into, and they are set out in full during onboarding — before you accept a single matter, and in a document that binds, rather than in marketing copy that does not.

Stated before you accept

The compensation terms for a matter are visible to you as part of deciding on it, not discovered afterwards.

Tracked per matter

Each accepted matter carries its own earning record through its states, rather than being pooled into an opaque balance.

Not contingent on outcome

Compensation is for the representation, not for a result. We do not build in an incentive to promise clients things.

Set out in the agreement

The specifics live in your agreement with FineFight, where they are binding and where you can hold us to them.

Ask about the numbers before you commit

The demo is the right place to get specific figures and to ask what happens in the edge cases — a matter that resolves early, one that needs more appearances than expected, one the client withdraws.

Two ways in, and they are different

Apply if you know what this is and want to be considered. Book a demo if you want to see the referral surface and ask about the terms first. Neither one commits you to the other.
